Perkins Familyn Restaurant and Bakery in Newburgh

We found a rainbow, a double rainbow when we exited the restaurant. Food was pretty good.

Food is very well prepared, hot and fresh. The employees are always friendly and attentive, even during the lunch and dinner rush. No complaints from the many times I've eaten here.

Horrible service!! Waitress forgot about us....horrible! A girlfriends breakfast...very special...I don't know if we'd go back!! Worst service ever! Been there many times...this one the worst!

Our food was great and our server was excellent! Our sever has been there since 2011. Fantastic job...well done!!

While the food is very good. The experience was negative. The waiter I had was very rude. He never came to our table to find out how everything was and he went over to other tables several times. I can understand if it was crowded but it wasn't.

Pretty darn awesome experience. My daughters like it quite well, one of their dinners is free with my entree on Wed from 4-10 or something. Macaroni the clown comes around to entertain everyone, and he's not just for kids. 😊

Didn't enjoy this time due to some indoor construction or welding and drilling it smelled terrible and was really loud could not enjoy or finish my food. Work should have done once closed not the busy hrs . I'm just saying

I come here with my grandparents. Always enjoy myself. The service is always good. I am very pleased with the gluten free options they have. A good place to have breakfast.

I love going to Perkins. The food is pretty good and it is typically a friendly environment. My last visit to this location was on Father's day. It was very busy and the service was a little slow, but it was to be expected on Father's Day. Everything was great until I went to use a 20% off coupon that they emailed me and the manager told me I couldn't use it until 4 p.m. Happy Father's Day to me!

Best pancakes I've ever had. This is not fine dining or anything exceptional. I do not come here expecting to get high quality food. However, I have been eating here for years, the servers are gFantastic, except a few, service is wonderful, environment is comfortable, food is decent and hospitality is great when you know all the servers.

On our annual apple picking trip we always stop at Perkins for breakfast and I have never been disappointed. I usually get the eggs benedict or spinach and feta omelette. The staff is always nice. The muffins are good too!

I love this Perkins. Jenn A is the best server. I come here frequently for morning breakfast, and she always knows my order. If I choose to try something different she knows the menu so well she’s able to ask me what I’m looking for and then figure out what will work best for me.

Thumbs up for their steak N eggs. Tender and juicy. Really nice place.

Not my favorite place ever to eat at, the steak was still pink, the eggs were like liquid still and barely cooked, our crepes Tasted like if they were already cooked and then just put in a microwave to heat them up, definitely not Fresh made! Overall the service was good

We love going to Perkins for breakfast. We have never been disappointed. The food has lots of flavor and the portions are large. We have always left this place stuffed. The prices are reasonable. They have a huge selection in their menu to choose from. The environment has a country decor. I love that they put a carafe of coffee right on the table, so you never have to wait for a waitress for more coffee. Speaking of waitresses, the best waitress I ever encountered was at this establishment. Her name is Lorri. She is warm, friendly and very efficient at her job. The morning manager is very professional and friendly too.

The food was delicious, the waitress was great, i ordered a trio plate (Turkey avocado BLT half sandwich, southwest chicken salad, and a choice soup (chicken noodle) all for 9.99). At first i thought it wouldn't be enough portion, but it was enough. Super satisfied here, and their bakery is also great too.

Jazmin is very special. Remembers orders, no writing. Also, very friendly, knowledgeable & polite. Loved the food. Hot, delicious & good.

We rarely miss a week at Perkins family restaurant over several years now. We know our favorite menu items there and enjoy updated and new items. (And new carpets and artwork in the dining room!) Of course, we also know the staff. The staff knows us and is always family-oriented towards us. They know our names, we know theirs! They know our favorite (of several) seating locations and the way we prefer our drinks and foods. We wouldn't have continued this long with our weekly dining (sometimes more than weekly!) there if our first visits didn't fit the bill.

Ate here for the 1st time in the Poconos awesome food and the bakery products are so good. Found one by me in New York. In heaven love this place.

Delicious. Waitress was great. Had to take it to go. It was so much food. Happy they have turkey products for breakfast. French toast was the bomb!!!

Always a sweet time when I come here. Food is very good, clean everything, and some of the kindest people you'll ever meet in your life. Special shout out to our waitress Sofia, she made sure me and my nieces/nephews were taken care of. Keep up the good work Perkins!

Very bright cheerful place! Staff friendly and ambiance happy! I was there for a business meeting in the private room. Though there were about 20 of us, food service was very quick and efficient and friendly! Food was excellent!

Perkins is a very nice spot to have breakfast, go for a bite of lunch, or dine in. It has a laid-back atmosphere, without the fast-paced feel if a diner. There are booths and tables. I ordered the Breakfast Burger and I liked it. They give you a coffee carafe where one person can get 2-3 cups out of it. I only took a star off because their WiFi wasn't great (at least the evening I went) and they occasionally revamp the menu, replacing some of my regular favorites. Great place to be and eat.

Good quality food for a moderate price...breakfast. ..lunch and dinner. The service is always good and the place is routinely very clean...

I forgot to take a pic before my first bite. This is the Monte Cristo sandwich which I believe is available for a limited time. It was good. I think the best Monte Cristo sandwich I've ever had was at the Melt in Ohio. The strawberry dipping sauce next to my plate was good also. The good too a little longer than usual so the waitress brought us a soup of our choice on the house which was a very kind gesture.

I meet my aunt here for lunch all the time and usually end up with the same absolutely delightful waitress! Order to go food a few times a month from here as well and it's always delicious and fresh

great food and customer service, especially the waiters, they made my entire day, one of the waiters in particular was so kind, had a incredible sense of humor and just made it feel more in-touch. Great restaurant!

GREAT PIE!!!! My fiance and I come here all the time to play cards eat pie and drink coffee. The service is great and the atmosphere is perfect for the relaxed meal with family or friends.
